The role:

As the Manager, On-Time Performance (OTP), you will be responsible for driving operational excellence by leading a frontline team and promoting collaboration across departments. In this role, you will actively engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation, monitor performance metrics, and implement innovative solutions. You will lead targeted initiatives aimed at enhancing stability, improving on-time performance, and optimising operational efficiency to elevate the overall guest experience.

In addition, you will:

  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improvement in service quality and implement enhancements.
  • Lead efforts to assess and improve operational performance across multiple streams by managing performance reports and insights.
  • Manage changes related to Precision Timing Schedules for aircraft turnarounds, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Analyse delay data to identify patterns, root causes, and areas for improvement, taking ownership of corrective actions.
  • Manage tasks effectively under time pressure, demonstrating strong ownership of operational efficiency and task prioritisation.
  • Regularly monitor and report on key on-time performance metrics, ensuring accountability for performance evaluation and improvements.
  • Monitor the impact of changes on operational performance, assessing effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
  • Highlight key achievements and areas requiring improvement, managing communications and follow-up actions.

 

What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a front line, operational, cost-focused, and people-centric environment.
  • Strong ability to lead and manage teams with a focus on delivering results.
  • Experience in both Domestic and International Operations.
  • High-level planning and organisational skills with a focus on business improvement.
  • Skilled in advising and communicating across a diverse organisation, leveraging advanced written and oral communication.
  • In-depth understanding of airline operations and the responsibilities of operational teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with business acumen to navigate organisational challenges.
