The role:

The Project Delivery Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Project Delivery and Business Services Manager, to prioritise and implement business improvements and project initiatives within the Customer Service Delivery (CSD) division.

In this position you will work closely with the airport and cabin, helping them deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and managing change and risk.

  • Ensure appropriate change and communications strategies, plans, materials, and training are provided to successfully embed the change.
  • Build effective relationships with CSD Technology Partners to gain traction and solutions for delivery.
  • Review and evaluate current processes and drive simplification, and improvement and effectively embed any changes.
  • Influence the design, development and delivery of the CSD business intelligence strategy.
  • Provide technical and business advice and input on automation and process simplification to deliver value to the CSD team.
  • Facilitate working groups focusing on reaching customer-centric solutions that are operationally sound.
  • Work collaboratively with the PMO as a business SME for the planning and implementation of projects that impact CSD.

 

Please note this is a 12-month secondment.

What you need to be successful:

  • Understanding of airline or similar logistical operations.
  • Proactive in initiating and driving improvements to processes, policies, and systems to enhance performance.
  • Skilled at working across functional lines to develop effective project plans and outcomes.
  • Proficient in developing procedures, processes, flow charts, and presentations.
  • Experienced in critical thinking, gap analysis, threat assessment, and risk mitigation.
  • Thrives on multitasking and variety.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and maintaining critical documentation
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
