Operations Transformation Lead - Future Airport Experience

What you’ll be doing:  

Join our Future Airports Experience program, where we're dedicated to enhancing the airport journey for our guests through advanced digital services and upgraded self-service capabilities. This pivotal program extends through 2026 and includes the implementation of Sabre Digital Workspace across our airport environments. 

As the Operations Transformation Lead, you will provide crucial operational insights and guidance to the program. Your responsibilities will include leveraging deep functional and technical knowledge of core airport systems to directly execute testing and implement solutions that align with business requirements. 

This is a max-term, 18 month contract. 

You’ll be great in this role if you: 

  • 5+ years of operational expertise with Sabre Interact systems, focussing specifically on Check-In and Boarding Gate functions. 

  • Exceptional ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders across all levels 

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective system configurations. 

  • Demonstrated experience in driving innovative change and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Proven track record of successful system implementation and thorough review process. 

  • Hands-on operational expertise with kiosk and automated bag drop applications. 

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of all airport policies and procedures.  

Desirable but not essential:  

  • Experience in effectively engaging with team leaders to achieve operational goals. 

  • Management experience within the aviation industry, demonstrating leadership in an operational setting. 

  • Track record of successfully leading and implementing operational change initiatives. 

  • Previous experience in system support and delivery, particularly within project teams. 

  • Demonstrated capability in budget management within operational contexts. 

  • Familiarity with change management principles, methodologies and tools.
