Join Our Team as an In-Flight Support Crew Member!

Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling journey with Virgin Australia as an IFSC? We're looking for individuals who are passionate about coaching and developing new crew members and extending a warm welcome to returning crew. As an IFSC, you'll play a key role in supporting crew with operational duties, both on board, including adherence to SOPs and service standards, and off board, navigating crew transport and sign-on procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum 12 months as Virgin Australia cabin crew
  • Proven record of reliability and consistent roster compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated high-level understanding of current SOP, SEP, and Virgin Australia service standards, with the ability to deliver required service levels
  • Genuine desire to coach, support, and develop others
  • Exemplify positive behaviours, consistently champion company values, and demonstrate unwavering commitment to the cabin crew role
  • Maintain 100% compliance and currency in all current role requirements, including V-Learn, CCONs, and mandated reporting (safety, fatigue)
  • Meet performance expectations, with documented feedback in MyPath

WHAT TO EXPECT

Written Application – Step 1:

Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted based on the strength of the written application and eligibility criteria.

Unsuccessful team members will be notified via email and are encouraged to contact their Leader for feedback.

Shortlisted to Interview – Step 2:

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview via email. Team members will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate capacity in the role, motivation, professionalism, and strength of responses to situational and behavioural questions.

Successful and unsuccessful application will be notified via phone and email.
